Outstanding protection from snakes
This ammo works very well in my Blackhawk. Perfect for rattlesnakes. Also works well on rats, etc. Close range only though, maybe 15 feet max. I try to be about 6 feet away or less.

CCI does not list a decibel rating for this ammo. The velocity of this ammo is sub-sonic, so it will be quieter than most standard ammunition, but it will still make noise. If your neighbors live close, then you may not want to shoot your firearm in your yard.
