Stay away.
The extension is far too long and the endcap won't secure the barrel to the magazine tube. I thought others who had this issue maybe were not threading it on properly or got unlucky. Either this was mislabeled or just wildly out of spec.

Too long, end cap can't secure barrel to shotgun
I thought this would be a great product to add on my M4 considering it was one of the few online that was still in stock. Greatly disappointed in that it can't be secured properly by the end cap because it is too long and longer than advertised. Pros: Potential increase in capacity Cons: A 1/4 in longer than advertised.

Great Extension for Benelli M4
I did a lot of product review before trying this product. It fits my factory Benelli m4 perfectly. It replaces the black fake extension that comes on the shotgun and fits the threading perfectly. Using the shorter Benelli magazine spring, it increased my capacity to 7 rounds of 2-3/4" shells in the tube plus 1 in the chamber. I did not try the spring that came with the product. It looks and feels well machined and the finish on it nearly matches the benelli steel finish. I highly recommend this product, especially at the price. Why pay the expensive price to replace the magazine tube completely when you can just add this cheaper extension for the same capacity?

Pretty easy install, best
Pretty easy install, best to use a split ring pliers to remove the stock mag spring plug, but keep your hand over the end so the plug doesn't fly away from you. BE WARNED though: the item says 7 shot but it DOES NOT add 2 shots. The Carlson's website says their capacity listings are chamber plus mag, so you only get one more in the tube. For the price, not sure I would have bought for only +1. BUT it looks great, perfect match for the dark grey barrel.
