The .303 British is a .303-inch (7.7 mm) caliber rifle and machine gun cartridge first developed in Britain, December 1888, for the Lee-Metford rifle, and later the Lee- Enfield and Martini-Enfield. This is true vintage Canadian Military Spec .303 British! It features a DA headstamp. DA Headstamps were Manufactured at the Dominion Arsenal, Montreal, Canada. This factory was known to have produced .303 cartridges in Cordite using the Mk 6 Ball Projectile.
