In the real world of hunting, the chances of the ideal shot opportunity occurring while on a level ground are slim-to-none. A pivoting bipod will allow the shooter to compensate for ground that is unlevel by up to 20 degrees. The lower portion of the bipod pivots independently from the upper stock mount, allowing the firearm to be quickly leveled on uneven ground. The tension knob can be adjusted to control the resistance of the pivoting motion.

Installed this bi-pod on
Installed this bi-pod on my DPMS 308 AR, and it works well enough. The feet are not spring loaded, so you have to push or pull them in and out. The second thing that I found a bit below standard is I did have to take all the screws/bolts out and add thread lock to keep them from working loose. This may be due to the larger recoil of the 308, but I did not look like I knew what I doing with the bi-pod coming loose in the middle of a magazine. Overall I would buy this again now that I fully understand what to expect, and how to correct most of the problems

I was skeptical at first
I was skeptical at first on how this was going to work, but to my surprise, it worked exceptionally well. The adjustable pivoting head was a plus. Very easy to install and remove. Only reason I give it 4 bullets is because the legs don't retract at the push of the button, other than that, it's a must for any shooter, whether novice or pro. CTD, you did it again. I look forward to my next purchase.Thank you

I mounted this to a Unive
I mounted this to a Universal Equipment Mount Picatinny/Weaver Rail which allows me to snap it on when I need it. The action on the legs is sturdy and easy to operate. Swivel is great for uneven ground. I didn't have any collapses during 120+ rounds of 7.62x39. Worth the purchase, in my opinion.
