This is a really good bip
This is a really good bipod for the money. I mounted it on my Ruger Scout and it looks great. I was happy to find that it held up to the recoil from a .308 bolt gun. I love the tilt and swivel feature, which helps a lot when shooting on uneven terrain. It mounts easily and stays tight to the gun. One thing to be aware of is that when you extend the legs, make sure that they are tight, or they will retract when you put pressure on them. All in all, it's well worth the money.

Same as 'GTO2006', I wanted a bipod that would allow some panning. If you're at a range, and just trying for tight groups on a single stationary target, you might not like this one at first; although it doesn't take much effort to get accustomed to it, and use it for that. If, however, you are shooting at multiple targets, or moving game, this thing is GREAT. You don't have to lift or drag the leg(s)to re-aim. I just purchased my 2nd one of these, after trying out the first one, and loving it.

I normally use the heavie
I normally use the heavier but field proven Harris BiPods but never liked how you cant pan/tilt a little if the target moves on you. I spent a long time trying to find one that could do this, but not sacrifice quality. This Bipod is a little on the light side, mostly because it (tough)plastic and (quality)aluminum, and I haven't yet knocked it around like I have a Harris before while out hunting in Alaska. I believe its still very well made none the less. I am happy with it so far and have recommend it to my friends. I am using it on a 300 WSM without a muzzle break and have not had any problems with the legs kicking out from under it.

How does this attach to a 10/22 swivel stud. The stud sticks out of the wood fore grip about 3/8" Thanks
Answer: It is designed to mount to a sling swivel stud.
