My fault for trusting the name. Leg came off in my hand the first time I extended it. Very stiff internal springs and limited cant and rotation. The whole made in China thing makes me want to just chuck it as a bad investment.

Awesome bipod for my AR15

Attaches to piccatiny rai
Attaches to piccatiny rail, not sling stud. I had to clarify this on the caldwell website because this is just what I wanted. It also has a sling stud on it. It cants with springs and swivels by loosening a lock-nut on the bottom with a plastic bushing between the friction surfaces.The legs are very sturdy and lock up or out into place with some force, i'm sure this will become easier over time and once it's mounted I'll have more leverage. operates quietly. Nice matte black finish to match the gun.
