XTR Pro Competition Ready Riflescope with Quarter Mil Value Reticle

The Burris XTR Pro riflescope was designed for PRS and NRL style competition shooting, so it is set up for speed and accuracy. It comes with two different quick detach turrets; both turrets have red anodized hexagon pattern knurling on top. The standard QD turret has large numbers printed numbers that are easy to read when making fast elevation adjustments. The second turret has a white dry erase board surface, so a shooter can mark their elevation change with their wind hold written above it. This allows for faster reference and can allow a shooter to run some stages without a dope card altogether. It also comes fully loaded with features a serious long-range shooter is looking for with 30x magnification, 56mm objective, red/green illumination, Christmas tree style reticle, 26 Mils of elevation internally, throw lever, and a tool-less zero click stop.

This XTR Pro comes with Burris's new SCR 2 ¼ MIL reticle. Competitive long-range shooters have been pushing the optics industry to offer better reticle options and Burris was listening. The Christmas tree reticle offered better wind hold reference when also holding over your target, but for several years most of these reticles only offered 1/2 Mil or 2/10th Mil reference marks. The 1/2 Mil is nice and open, so you are able to see more wind/mirage, but it can be challenging to use this style reticle when making a fine wind adjustment. Shooters will frequently find themselves needing to make a 1 or 2/10th Mil wind adjustment either from the beep or when making a correction for a follow up shot, so a Christmas tree reticle with 2/10th Mil reference marks is one of the most popular reticle options in PRS/NRL. Burris took everything that is awesome in the SCR 2 Mil reticle and went from 2/10th Mil marks to 1/4 Mil reference marks. This opens up the reticle and takes out some of the clutter but still has enough marks for those fine-tuned windage adjustments. This reticle gives the shooter the best of both worlds.
