I have found this to be an ample sized safe for the price. The quality of construction is on par with competing brands that sell for much more. It is very easy to program and the fact that it has many more possible combinations than the typical four-button models is a positive. You may want to add more padding than what is provided depending on what you choose to store in it. The only complaint I have is that you cannot hit the numeric keys too fast when entering your combination or it won't register the input. Practice to prevent panic and you should respond ok to any emergency. Of course this isn't what I would consider to be a bedside safe, either, so it probably doesn't matter how fast you can enter the combination.

It's a very good safe. I would highly recommend it. It is easy to use, easy to set up, has a lot of room for a pistol and about 10 boxes of ammo. Downside, if you have more than 1 pistol, you may need to get more than one of these.

This is a fairly good saf
This is a fairly good safe. Feels tough and is easy to use. Has plenty of room inside, but only downside is that the keypad is very loud and there is no way to mute it. Still a good buy though, especially for the price.
