All good except longevity. Vinyl finish wears out.
Works fine, clips well (even difficult to remove from your belt, which is a good thing) and the magnetic flap is great. But the vinyl wears out too quickly. Why not make these in leather?

I like the compact size of the case, however I don't like the fact that my pistol lay's aimed to the rear. Doesn't seem safe.

I have just purchased a Kel-Tec to carry as back-up while off duty. I saw this, and thought this would be nice to carry it concealed. The listing shouldn't have the words cell phone in it, this thing is huge. I could carry two palm pilots with room to spare. I'm concerned this thing is going to draw more attention, having people wondering what is in a big case that is strapped to my side. The belt loop seems to be the secure way to carry it, but the belt hook seems very weak (wouldn't trust it) I was going to return it, but CTD charges a $5.00 shipping to return. It seems it will keep the pistol well protected, and out of site, so since it was going to take half the price of what I payed for it to return it, I decided to keep it and maybe find a use for it.

I have had the BD840 viny
I have had the BD840 vinyl holster in daily use for over 2 months now and have found it to be an excellent product. It provides concealment for my LCP while making it immediately accessible. The one-handed draw is very smooth. The BD840 is softer and dressier than the BD841 (which I also have) so I use the BD840 with my 'sunday go to meet'n' clothes and leave the nylon version for daily wear with jeans. While I am very satisfied with both the BD840 and the BD841, the product needs to be improved to earn a 5 star rating. First of all, the belt loop / clip needs to be raised to closer to the top of the holster so that less of the holster is actually sitting above your belt. Secondly, the clip and its attachment should be improved. The nylon loop that the belt clip fits into is too soft/flexible, resulting in unwanted shifting/twisting of the holster while being worn via the metal clip. If you use the actual belt loop instead of the clip, the holster is very secure. However, this makes transfer (or removal in case you are entering a no-gun zone)somewhat difficult. Finally, I would recommend the addition of a velcro closure (in addition to the magnetic catch) to provide additional security against accidental opening as the magnetic catches are not 100% reliable.
