The cast bullet is not considered soft, but it is not really a HARD cast bullet either as it only has a BHN (Brinell Hardness Numnber) of 12 so, it could be termed a medium/hard cast bullet. The bullet is properly alloyed, lubed and is gas checked; it will NOT lead foul barrels.

Cannot use repeater on He
Cannot use repeater on Henry 44mag limited 3rd ed. Tip of the bullet gets hung up when you cycle the lever. Works fine when you hand load the chamber.

The 44 magnum round is near the top of the ammo food chain but this particular bullet packs an incredible punch far beyond most other 44 configurations. If you want a 44 magnum round that surpasses it's cousins, this one is for you. Powerful and devastating.
