Buffalo Bore loads their .460 Rowland round squarely at mid .44 magnum power levels. That means it is possible to carry a 1911 style pistol with the power of a .44 magnum in a handgun that is slimmer, faster to reload, faster to shoot and higher capacity than a revolver. Buffalo Bore uses low flash powder so the muzzle flash will not blind the shooter in the dark, and uses only the highest quality components.
The .460 Rowland is based on a .45 ACP case, but is slightly longer to insure that it cannot chamber in a .45 ACP barrel.
