Reliable fun from a carbine & reliable fun from a revolver!
How can you not LOVE .327 Fed Mag? There is no pondering, why it exists like .45GAP. .327 gives near .357 performance, with less recoil, and MUCH improved accuracy. This stuff is hot & heavy, and will work for taking deer or javelina, or bad people, for matter. It shoots nicely from the Charter Arms Patriot, Ruger Single 7, SP101, LCR, Taurus M327, and other revolvers, as well as pistol caliber carbines, chambered in .327 Fed Mag. It runs great, is very powerful, clean burning, and I just love it. It's a semi-wadcutter, USA made, no scrap metal filler in the lead, consistently good running ammo. The only thing I hate is the price, and limited selection. .327 Fed Mag is a fabulous round! You get 6 not 5 in a J Frame, and very near 357 performance with an easier shooting pistol. You can also shoot .32 H&R Magnum, .32 S&W, .32 Short. .32 Long & even .32ACP, all from the same gun. I don't advise 32ACP, but it shoots from my SP101. From a Henry, this stuff is fantastic! Pros: Accurate Cons: Pricey / Poor Value
