A Shorter, Suppressor-Ready Version of Browning's X-Bolt Speed Series of Rifles

Browning's X-Bolt Speed SR (Suppressor Ready) is a different X-bolt Speed rifle, thanks to the use of barrel lengths that are 4" shorter than normally designated for the caliber. This barrel is also fluted to reduce weight and threaded 5/8-24 with a muzzle brake for reduced recoil. This shorter barrel length makes it ideal for adding a suppressor, and the threaded muzzle makes adding a suppressor a breeze! The X-Bolt Speed SR's action is bedded into the stock in order to free-float the barrel and deliver reliable accuracy shot after shot. A short-throw bolt with a 60 degree bolt lift minimizes the amount of action needed to work the bolt. Browning opted for a sporter style composite stock which is highly durable yet still very lightweight. The stock features an OVIX camouflage finish while the barrel and action have a smoked bronze Cerakote finish which keeps the rifle's important parts protected against the elements. Browning's X-Bolt series has earned its reputation as some of the finest modern bolt guns, and the X-Bolt Speed SR is a welcome addition to the family.
