Browning's X-Bolt Speed LR takes the same beloved features from their most popular X-Bolt rifle and adds a sporter contour barrel to increase accuracy at even longer ranges. This barrel is also fluted to reduce weight and threaded 5/8-24 with a muzzle brake for reduced recoil. The X-Bolt Speed LR's action is bedded into the stock in order to free-float the barrel and deliver reliable accuracy shot after shot. A short-throw bolt with a 60 degree bolt lift minimizes the amount of action needed to work the bolt and an extended handle ensures that you've always got total control. Browning opted for a sporter style composite stock which is highly durable yet still very lightweight. This stock includes an adjustable comb system which allows up to 1 inch of height adjustment to ensure perfect eye alignment with your optic. The stock features an OVIX camouflage finish while the barrel and action have a smoked bronze Cerakote finish which keeps the rifle's important parts protected against the elements.
