FN Herstal and Winchester have worked out an arrangement. The Belgian company makes firearms under license by Winchester, while the American company produces ammo under FN’s Browning brand. That’s why this case of 40 S&W target ammunition should meet your standards perfectly if you already know and love Winchester.

As a range and target load, this cartridge is as ordinary as ordinary can be. It is outfitted with a 180 grain projectile, which produces average recoil as it accelerates to 1,020 fps muzzle velocity (4” bbl). The projectile is a full metal jacket, which supplies smooth semi-automatic functionality and zero terminal expansion. The FMJ’s flat nose is the standard frontal profile for a .40 caliber bullet.

Winchester’s (and therefore Browning’s) centerfire ammunition is always loaded with new brass cases and noncorrosive Boxer primers. Any handloader will find good use for once-fired Browning brass. Five boxes of 100 rounds per case.
