It contains specially polymerized synthetic oils that stop friction, inhibits rust and corrosion, and prevents galling on stainless steel. It's safe on all gun metal and gun metal finishes, as well as polymers such as used in the frames of many handguns. The non-solvent formula minimizes drain off.
