This handguard comes with a pre-heat treated 2" long 4140 steel barrel nut that has been nitride, not phosphate. This ensures rigid, rock-solid accessory mounting. Best of all, they are proudly made in Ohio from American sourced 6061 T-6 extruded aluminum.
