This cartridge’s 115 grain full metal jacket is indeed nothing fancy. It certainly works, though, and is reliably supersonic out of any barrel 4” or longer. The bullet’s core and jacket are both steel free, but that jacket *is* plated. That means it’s not a safe choice for a ported muzzle device or barrel, as a port may rip off a sliver of copper and bounce it back at you. Not good!

Blazer’s Brass series ammo is named after the metal its new cases are made of (as opposed to aluminum, which is also available under the Blazer label). This ammo’s clean-firing powder and surefire Boxer primers complete the picture. Packaged ten boxes per case!
