Lead. Brass. Nitrocellulose. The ingredients for a good time! But you can’t trust just any company to turn these things into a quality target load. You need an authority like CCI, whose Blazer label .45 ACP ammunition has met shooters’ expectations for decades!

This cartridge’s specifications are fairly basic, all things considered. It is loaded with the 230 grain full metal jacket that John Browning intended, and its 830 fps muzzle velocity out of a 5” test barrel is precisely what qualifies as “normal” for a .45 Auto ball cartridge.

You don’t have to saw this round’s FMJ projectile in half to confirm that it doesn’t contain steel. Just place it next to a magnet and you will see that nothing happens. The FMJ’s round nose profile feeds reliably. Its copper-alloy jacket minimizes fouling, but do take care that the jacket is plated and therefore not suited for a pistol (or PCC) with a ported barrel or compensator.

To be sure, this isn’t Blazer’s aluminum-cased ammo. It is the Brass series stuff, and appropriately loaded with new reloadable brass cases and noncorrosive Boxer primers. Once case of ammo contains twenty 50-round boxes.
