When you're drawing a pistol from a holster, the last thing you want is for the entire holster to come out of your waistband with the gun! With that in mind, BLACKHAWK designed the belt clips for their Stache line of holsters to work with numerous belt types and hold on tight. The J-style clips are shaped to wrap around and under the belt so that when you pull your gun out of the holster, the gun comes out but the holster holds onto the belt.
