It technically is a holster
Messed with the adjustment endlessly. It would finally hold itself upside down, but anything more acceleration than 9.81 m/s2 and it will fall right out. Recommend the blackhawk version with press button release. Returned and refunded.

Nicer than what the price indicates....
I got one of these for my S&W Shield, had to get one for my Glock full size too. Very trim and not bulky, retention adjustment for that "just right" draw, ability to adapt to belt (many sized belts at that) or over paddle style, design of which keeps the holster right in place and very secure. Very minimalist design, cant adjustable too. The cutout in the front allows to clear the holster quicker and not get hung up on the front sight. If it had a depth adjustment, this would be a perfect OWB belt / paddle holster. When addressing the firearm, the trigger finger placement is established well. The holster is also nice looking, with smooth and textured area. Though the paddle doesn't have a rubber inlay to aid with comfort, the size and shape of the paddle is really quite pleasurable to wear. Have worn worse at higher price. Really Impressed with it, and especially when compared to other poly / kydex holsters in this and more expensive price ranges, the Blackhawk becomes more of a value. I would only add a rubber inlay to where the paddle meets the skin for a bit more comfort, and a depth adjustment. But what you get for the buck as is, I can't complain! Pros: adjustable retention
