What is the length of this mount. My AR 15, has a separate. Short front Pinckney rail, on the front of the handguard. It's a Smith and Wesson MP-15. The short front rail is only about 1 1/4. To maybe 1 1/2 inches long. I'm wondering how much overhang. This flashlight mount will have on the short rail ??

Will this interfere with top mounted scope...when mounted on same rail? Will the vision in scope be compromised by light mt. or light obstruction?
