So it is what it is. I purchased this without realizing that it had the spring loaded almost carabiner style clips and not the traditional sling swivels that most rifle slings use. I thought I was going to have to return it until I realize I could just throw some spilt rings like you use on keys and jury rig it. It looks janky AF but I never really care about how “tacticool” things look they just have to work. My only complaint about the sling itself is the strap is super wide. I understand this was probably to accommodate the shell holding portion but is almost too much material and it bunches and is floppy. Other than that I suits my needs just fine.

Works beautifully on my Mossberg 590 Retro.
Perfect! Exactly what I needed for my Mossberg 590 Retrograde. Fast & direct delivery. The sling itself is excellent quality. I'm glad that I had the opportunity to add my own sling swivels. To many manufacturers use junk steel for their swivels. And, they're sewn into the sling. So, if the swivels break. You need to find someone that can remove the stitching, change the swivels, and resew everything. So, great job Blackhawk.

Great, if you don't plan to use it.
This sling is so cheap in construction and material I almost didn't waste time trying it. I did try it and found it was uncomfortable at best. The adjustment process is cumbersome and slow and the attachment points are cheap and rattle with slight movement. Don't simply on your sling, your shoulder will thank you!

This is mainly for decorative purposes. Good for hunting. Pros: Solid made product.
