First Time Ooops.
When I first received this product it had leaked from a loose cap from the factory. It was sealed in clear plastic and cardboard. The other merchandise in the package was not affected by this corrosive liquid. Customer Support was quick to respond and had it replaces in a few days. The replacement product was in perfect condition.

I use this on all my guns
I use this on all my gunsmith jobs if I have to grind or cut small pieces. Though it’s not as dark as I would like, its dark enough that you wouldn’t notice it.

I purchased a bottle of this product to reblue an old 30-30. The previous owner had begun a hack-job on cleaning up the barrel and reciver. The action was also a wreck. Anyway, I prepped the metal with steel wool and degreaser. After three applications and a rub down of gun oil and the metal looks absolutly awesome. It has a nice, rich black finish. I have several other firearms that require slight touch up and this has worked well. If you are toying with the idea of purchasing this product, DO SO! You won't be sorry.

I purchased this product
I purchased this product from CTD, and did somewhere between a spot repair and a complete reblue on a old Ruger 10/22 that had several shiny spots and some rust damage on the barrel. I scotchbrighted the bad spots then cleaned it with degreaser. I then applied three separate coats of Casey's Liquid Gun blue on the barrel of my project rifle, rinsed and repeated for each of the applications. The appearance of the rifle has improved 100%, there are a few streaks and blended spots, but I feel they are hardly noticible. I recommend this product.
