I was using the popular well marketed 'protective oils' for my antique military firearm collection, but none were giving the results I needed..Everything I tried would dry out after just a few months of storage, and created a hard sticky film around all metal parts so I was at a real loss for what to do. Good stuff...BUT..its a little thin. For my purposes (AK47) thats not what I was looking for. But to lube a pistol or revolver..even an AR maybe it should work fine. That aside..its a good product..but I've moved on to buying my grease by the pound at home depot..for $4.. :D

This stuff works great. I use it on my Kel-Tec P-11 and my 12 gauge, keeps them in good working order! A little messy, being, well, grease. But worth it.
