Belom isn’t the best-known Serbian ammunition manufacturer, but their 7.62x39mm is great all the same. So long as your AK-47 doesn’t have an aggressive extractor that rips up brass case rims, you’re going to love this ammo’s performance at the range.

This cartridge’s 123 grain projectile and 2,350 fps muzzle velocity are both totally normal for its class, and familiar to any fan of the almighty Kalashnikov. The full metal jacket has a brass jacket and lead-antimony alloy core (no steel; nonmagnetic).

Belom loads this ammo with the same temperature-stable propellant they use in their military products, which is formulated to correctly function semi-automatics in temperatures ranging from -65.2 to 125.6 °F. Each round is completed with a new brass case (reloadable) and corrosion-free Boxer primer. The primer is sealed for added protection in the field.

This ammo is packaged in attractive and protective plastic boxes. Twenty rounds per box; 24 boxes per case.

Is this ammo non-magnetic?
Answer: That's correct sir. No steel. I've personally fired it at ranges which prohibit bimetal jacketed ammo before.
