Want your suppressor to work *better*? Give it less to suppress! Barnes’ specialized Suppressor Series 9mm cartridge is loaded with the beefy, subsonic 147 grain projectile that makes the quietest report on ignition, and its propellant is fine-tuned to deliver quieter performance as well.

That same powder keeps on delivering. Barnes also promises that it burns clean, reduces gas blowback, and improves cycling of semi-autos.

That projectile’s not just heavy enough to keep muzzle velocity around 140 fps lower than sonic. It’s also a jacketed hollow point by Sierra of Missouri. Its suitability for defense is not touted, as Barnes only markets Super Suppressed for target practice and competitive shooting, but Sierra’s premium craftsmanship promises the very accuracy you want when you’re riding the canned lightning.

This round’s muzzle velocity is 985 fps, recorded via 4” barrel. Velocity at 25 yards is 956 fps (298 ft lbs); 50 yards, 930 fps (282 ft lbs). Aim to 25 yards and drop at 50 will be approximately -1.5” (those numbers are all provided by Barnes; real-world results can and most likely will vary).
