Barnes LRX Projectiles Deliver Match Grade Accuracy with High Ballistic Coefficient's

The Barnes LRX Long Range Hunting or LRX projectiles as they are known were developed to match advancements in both rifle accuracy and extended range optics. The LRX features a long profile with incredible high ballistic coefficients along with terminal performance delivering quick clean and ethical kills. The heart of the LRX is the solid copper core while the Polymer tips boosts BC's but also initiates rapid expansion of the projectile on contact. This will result in a large frontal diameter for maximum energy transfer and deep penetration on game at either close or extreme distances. The boat tail design features a precision heel radius. Get the lead out of your meat with Barnes LRX Lead Free projectiles.

Note: These are projectiles only. They are used for loading or reloading empty shell cases. This is not finished ammunition that is ready to fire.

Are these good for 30/06 ? - Barnes 30377
Answer: The diameter is compatible, so this will work. As to accuracy, it will depend on the model of the firearm and the twist rate of the barrel. If you have a 1:10 twist, these should do well. If you have a 1:12 twist or slower, then I would recommend using a 150 grain bullets. If you are using these in an M1 Garand, then I would recommend using a lighter bullet, closer to 150 grains.
