Maybe I got a bad batch. While testing with my XD-M 40, I had 3 rounds to get stuck inside the barrel. The round was not hot enough to expel the bullet from the barrel. I had to put the barrel into a vice to pound the round out. I threw out the 2 boxes that I bought.

These have to be the best
These have to be the best defense rounds I have tested. Great penetration and awesome expansion. The coating on the bullets make them very easy to feed and very reliable. They are more expensive than a lot of other rounds, but the quality and performance are worth that extra money in this case. I only carry these rounds now... couldn't be happier with them.

The Barnes Tac-XPD was ve
The Barnes Tac-XPD was very cleanly shot out of my HK USP .40 -- there was very little felt recoil, which is surprising for a low-grain, high-pressure round. Barnes markets this as a +P round for the .40 S&W, but at 1K FPS and change, it's not a particularly hot round as it is. In any case, the expansion is massive, the bullet's fast and slippery, and I prefer this to any of my JHPs filled with a lead core now. The lower felt recoil and the large expansion makes shot placement a breeze, and you can get 2 inch groups easily at 7 yards with the .40 caliber. Happy Shootin!

Clean and accurate. Hollo
Clean and accurate. Hollow point is .....I guess I would say wider or deeper than all others. A great personal defense ammo. And they look sharp too! Lol
