Is this legal to buy and ship to NY. Since it’s not a drop down magazine can I buy it if I live in NY? And I do not live in the city or 5 boroughs if that makes a difference.

Hi Dave! This stock is specifically designed for Marlin 60/75/990 rifles. I cannot rightly recommend it for a rifle it isn't specified for. With that said, I do believe (but cannot confirm) that any 60 stock can be made to fit a 70P. Exactly how, I'm unsure, though a gunsmith, Marlin enthusiast, or Marlin or ATI customer service representative may be able to tell you more.
