Hit and miss
During the warmer months I shoot a Steel Challenge match weekly and a couple of USPSA matches a month. Over the past few years I have shot many matches with a pistol caliber carbine, built on a Quarter Circle 10 Colt magazine lower receiver. I have been using Brownell's and PSA 30 round magazines without a hiccup for thousands of rounds. I bought four of these for Steel Challenge, as they are much lighter than a loaded 30 rounder. Two work well, no problems. Of the other two, one consistently double-feeds, the other double-feeds about every other magazine. I have tried a variety of ammunition and bullet weights, this doesn't affect anything. The finish on these mags appears to be very similar to the flat black finish on AR type carbines, however it wears off sliding around in the bottom of a cardboard box while I was driving to the range. I'm putting this down as poor quality control at the factory. I have two mags that work great, and two that don't. Pros: Solid built mag body Cons: Inconsistent function
