Was an ASC mag fan until this last purchase
Bought 5 of these mags last summer. Stuffed them away until a few weeks ago. 3 of the 5 mags will only take 17 rounds and when loaded rattle like crazy! Wouldn't recommend these!

I like it
Excellent choice for anyone who loves an authentic A-1. I use it in an M-16A1 clone and also in a ar with bipod legs that are low to the ground. I like it, and it works perfect.

Looks good on my retro AR-15
I bought this to complete a m-16a1 look-alike rifle I built. I probably will try this magazine at the range at least once, but mainly bought it just because I needed a straight 20 rd magazine for authentic looks.

Decent stainless mag, but...
These Mags are perfectly serviceable, and, I do like stainless, but.... I bought 4 of these. 2 of them worked as they should, 2 would stop accepting rounds at 15-16 rounds. I disassembled them, and the 2 that wouldn't load properly had followers meant for 30 round mags, i.e., the followers had two long "legs" on them that are meant, I think, to keep them from tilting and jamming in the curved part of a 30 round mag. Thus, I knocked off one star.

Do not waste your money.
Do not waste your money. I purchased this mag because I wanted a straight up and down steel 20 round mag (not curved) for 223/556 so I have clearance on the bench. ASC made the mag slightly too wide and when you load it up the first bullet fits but the rest do not sit in the mag like they should. It seems as if the follower, spring and the steel lips around the top are not made to fit 223/556. Look up ASC 20 round magazine on YouTube and you will see what I'm talking about. Unbelievable

I have no Idea what the o
I have no Idea what the other review is about. I have been using SS ASC .223 20 round magazines for years. They are Great. I have never had any problems or any other issues with them. They have a great follower that is orange so you can see it. I use 20 magazines because that is a box of ammo. I also use a 5 round ASC SS, (Stainless Steel) for bench rest shooting. Do not let anybody tell you that these are bad Magazines. They are my standard for years.

Honestly this is a pretty
Honestly this is a pretty horrible magazine. It's so bad I don't even want to risk using it in my ar. In trying to feed it the bullets were not evenly going down into the magazine. If one shifted it could just simply knock a bullet loose and out. When pushing down on the spring it goes down very unevenly. On my magpul pmag, if you push down on the front edge all of it goes down evenly. If I push on the center of this mag is wobbles left and right. Like I said this is just a terrible product.
