.30 Carbine ammunition from ARMSCOR
This is not bad ammo, just DIRTY. I bought a few cases 3 years ago. Shoot great in the M1 and M2. I basically purchased it for the brass, which is fine. The powder that us used in it is VERY DIRTY.This ammo is accurate, reliable on feeding, cycling, and going bang with each trigger pull. No malfunctions due to ammo in 1,500 rounds through the M1, and the same through my M2. Just oil the heck out of the bolt and keep oil handy if you plan to shoot a lot in one trip.I have been told by someone at Armscor that they switched powders, but have not purchased any recently.I have reloaded the brass 20 times with NO SPLIT cases and minimal stretching. The brass is good, almost as good as FIOCCHI brass but not as hard to resize.I had to tear down the guns and run them through the ultrasonic cleaner for about 20 minutes after putting 500 rounds through them each.To give you a comparison I run my M60 for 5,000 rounds before it goes into the ultrasonic cleaner.I feel confident in recommending this ammo to anyone with a surplus US CARBINE Cal .30 M1 or M2 because I have used it in mine.
