The Sound Mitigation Buffer is Now Available in a Complete Kit

The Gen3 Sound Mitigation Buffer SMB is a single-stage captured drop-in replacement for your standard buffer and spring. The SMB is designed to keep the buffer spring from rubbing against the inner wall of the buffer tube providing smooth, quiet operation. Additionally, the main spring can be trimmed at .25 lbs. per coil to reduce tension up to a max of 12 coils.

This complete kit includes the entire buffer tube assembly, making it great for anyone who is building an AR and wants an Armaspec Sound Mitigation Buffer for their build. Included with this kit are an SMB buffer, a buffer tube, an end plate and a castle nut.

Note:
For proper function of the SMB in your 9mm AR, the extra weight on the back of the bolt carrier needs to be removed. It is held in with a spring pin. This system will only work with BCGs that have the extra weight inside and removing it will not shorten the BCG.
