Beast of a shell carrier...
Solidly built part. Popped right onto my 870. I like that I can adjust tension on each individual shell.Unfortunately I was not able to cycle the action on my Remington with this part installed. I decided to modify the shell carrier instead of my shotgun or exchanging it for another style carrier. I used a band saw to cut off two carrier spots and I then sanded the carrier down and painted it black. If an option for a 5 round carrier is available at the time of this posting got with that. The extra shells will add a significant amount of weight. You can always carry more shells elsewhere.Unfortunately due to the nature of this design it holds the shell a little further away from the shotgun. It will affect balance slightly more than other lighter and sleeker carriers.

Fits h&r pardner protector pump with modification
I purchased this to mount to my hr pardner protector pump with the understanding that it is based on the 870. It mounted but I had to remove the slot closest to the forend, so it could retract enough to eject the spent shell. Works great after some fabricating. Pros: Holds shells very well

Installed on the 870 with no issues. Parts are quality. Retention of shells is fantastic. My only gripe may not matter to some, but this kit requires 2 different Allen keys for install/takedown and retention adjustment. 1 key would have been nice...

Will not need to buy another because it is made so wll.
Great product.Easy to install and fits perfectly.Has padded piece to fit between mount and weapon to prevent marring surface with tension screws for to adjust shell retention.Would definitly recommend to anyone who has 870 tactical with GG&G one round extension tube to carry same amount of shells in tube as carrier.More than happy with Archangel!

Does this attach using the factory pin holes on the 870?

Yes it does, very easy to install. Took me about 15 mins and that’s even Locktite the bolt screws.
Distance between mounting holes? wanting to mount on turkish made shotgun
