Works great, feeds great. Make sure to seat your bullets good though, had one round not feed right cause of that. A little trouble pulling the magazine out but I'll get that figured out.

This is the SKS magazine solution we have all been looking and waiting for. I ordered 2 to test, and I'll order a few more now.
Game Changer!! So far, of all the magazine and aftermarket release options I have tried or seen, this IS the best option BY FAR. I have the Texas Weapons SSR release on another gun and it works well, but it's no longer available. I think this ProMag mag/release combo might be the reason. Like all poly mags, don't think you will just go throw it in your gun and be set. It never works that way. First, make sure your stock is not intruding into the front duckbill area. If it intrudes, you may blame the mag because it will rub or not go into lockup at all. My stock need to be Dremeled quite a bit, so that the duckbill catch had full lock-up. You may need to relieve the mag well of the stock also, to give the mag room to slide in. File or Dremel the casting marks off the rear of the magazine, so that it doesn't catch on the sharp edges of the gun. Might need to round some of those sharp edges. One edge that will need rounding is the original mag catch. It's sharpness will dig into the ProMag release, preventing smooth operation. If you want smooth, almost AK-like mag releases, you MUST do the "SKS bolt modification". There are various YouTube videos, but it's a one-way-street and you should probably find a 2nd bolt to cut on, not your matching # bolt. ????

Ok mags
The quality on these is very good, however I had to sand these down a bit to get them to fit my Sks. It also jammed quite a bit when shooting. Having said that they fit better then Magpul and Tapco mags.

Archangel Detachable Mags for SKS
I just received these magazines about 2 weeks ago. I have not yet had a chance to go to the range with them but all of the magazines are a perfect fit into my Norinco SKS. No modifications were needed to make this happen. I just removed the OEM 10-round fixed mag and after reinstalling the trigger group I checked each mag for fitness. Super easy. Also, the release lever on the mag itself works well. I purchased these mags right after I replaced OEM stock with a Choate SKS m4 telescoping stock with pistol grip. The new stock with the new mags are a great combo. Cheaper Than Dirt shipping was super quick. Lastly, from the previous reviews I had read, it seemed that with the Norinco SKSs, both the Choate stock and these mags, no mods were needed for them to fit. My experience mirrors this.

It works great!
I have a Chinese type 56 in a tapco stock that these slipped right into and functioned exactly as they are supposed to. Theyre awesome! No issues with the release paddle, no issues with rounds feeding. It just works!

The get fit perfectly into my Chinese type 56. I have it bubba’d in a tapco stock and it still fit just fine. No issues. The release paddle works perfectly too. It took a bit for me to get used to but it wasn’t mechanical it was operator error.
