I usually do not write re
I usually do not write reviews but I am so happy with this product that I can't help myself. I am running a sps tactical with a 20' bull barrel. This stock is pillar bedded just like the stock that came on the rifle which makes it every bit as accurate and more comfortable. The adjustments are awesome. The mags are modified m14 mags. They are a little hard to find but they are every bit as good and cheaper than the AI mags. I ordered two 20 round mags and they work great. I did not have to do any modifications to make the rifle fit and the barrel is beautifully floated. The built in bipod is nice and steady and allows you to tilt the rifle a little bit both ways. It is a little heavier than the original stock but I don't mind that because I am not a little girl. M14 mags DO NOT WORK in with this stock. This is not the fault of the stock its just how the Remington bolt is designed.

First off... my remington
First off... my remington 700 short action is chambered in .223 and not .308 and it fits and functions perfectly. Only modification I had to make was to take some plyers and bend the ears on top of the magazine in just a little bit to keep my .223 rounds in the magazine. Now the magazine feeds perfectly even though I guess it was designed for the .308 cartridge. and another mod I might look into is installing a swivel stud to mount my own harris bipod and keep the one it comes with folded up for a backup. Not thoroughly impressed... but i have seen worse. Over all... I'm happy with my purchase.

Very happy with the stock
Very happy with the stock. Fit and finish are awesome. 5 minutes to install the stock total, from tearing down the old stock to throwing away the package. The actual weight of the stock (I would not call this stock light weight), and the fact that there is not any predrilled holes to install a sling ( I realize this is designed more for precision than hunting), are the reasons I didn't give a 5 bullet.Over all, I would absolutely buy this stock again.
