Great buy, extremely satisfied!
Just got this for my Remington 700, 7mm MagI absolutely love it, perfect fit, floats the barrel, and holds 6, magnum rounds! Has optional mag floor plate that reduces magazine capacity. My 700 was passed to me from my father, and it had the original, beautiful checkered wood stock. Mfg. date is April 66’. Nothing wrong with the original stock, but wanted to accomplish two things. First, was to provide a magazine feed but didn’t want to modify the original stock. Second, was to float the barrel for better accuracy. Had no feed problems whatsoever. Loaded the magazine to full capacity, and performed a series of dry fire chambering. Not one issue. Note, I did this due to the other review where it was stated that the gentleman had issues when chambering .270 rounds. Can’t say anything about that as I chamber in a different cartridge. All I can say is for me, it is exactly what I wanted and the price simply can’t be beat! Easy to install, great quality solid construction. It took a 55 year old hunting rifle, that was already extremely accurate, and transformed it to one great looking DSR. I’ll admit, I haven’t got it to the range yet, and I will surely report back if I experience any issues, although I seriously doubt it will disappoint. Thanks to CTD, and Archangel for a fine product, at an awesome price!!

Almost perfect!
The stock and the 5-Round mag that came with it are great. The transition from the original stock to the Archangel Long Action (270) was flawless Less wear and tear on me with the adjustable stock and the external 5-Rnd mag was a nice bonus. Two problems; 1) Chambering a round has to be quick or the round to pop out before it's aligned with the chamber and 2) there doesn't seem to be any availability for additional Long Action magazines. So the end result is that I won't be recommending this until both issues have been resolved.

Just wondering if this Archangel with accept barrels up to .920" (bull barrel) like the magpul Hunter series?

This stock will fit any Remington factory-profile barrel. A .920" barrel on a Remington 700 is a Lightweight Varmint or a Varmint profile, perhaps a Heavy Palma, it really depends on where you measure the barrel. If you have a true bull barrel Rem M700 barrel that measures 1.22" all the way, this stock will not fit.
