The Apex Failure Resistant Extractor (FRE) is the latest addition to our line of high performance parts for the Smith and Wesson M&P series pistols.
The FRE was designed to ensure consistent and reliable extraction under the most adverse conditions. Critical engagement surfaces and hook geometry are machined by wire EDM. The result is tolerance variation that is an order of magnitude smaller than using conventional machining techniques. This allows for a nearly drop in part that will function with the reliability you have come to expect from any part bearing the Apex name.
