This cartridge’s 95 grain full metal jacket certainly doesn’t demonstrate how technologically advanced a bullet Remington can create. It’s a humble range and targe projectile, with a solid lead core and a proper copper jacket – not a plated jacket which doesn’t get along with ported barrels/compensators, but a conventional drawn jacket that does. Remington’s FMJs are also made without steel, and will get you inside ranges where “magnetic” is a no-no word.
