How does Aguila of Mexico make such a fantastically weak .22 LR cartridge? Easy! They do two things:
1. Load a 50% lighter bullet than usual
2. Do not load *any* powder
Thanks to its low-inertia projectile and primer-only ignition, this cartridge manages to attain much lower muzzle velocity than even a .22 Short. Its muzzle energy – 8 ft lbs – is so low as to be comical.
So; why should you want such weak ammo? Certainly not for defense, but definitely if you want to:
A) Fire a gun with the least possible recoil
B) Teach a young child the basics
C) Execute a yard pest without upsetting the neighbors
★IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW★
• This ammo has zero chance of cycling a semi-automatic
• Do not fire this ammo in a rifle (in which it may squib)
