Have you had trouble finding bulk 6.5 PRC ammo for target practice? Then you may have begun wondering if its name stands for “Profoundly Rare Cartridge.”

Fortunately, American Quality Ammunition is here to make things all better. Pop open this loose-packed box of Montana-made 6.5 PRC and get cracking!

American Quality has not specified which brand of hollow point boat tail this round is loaded with. But that’s OK! It doesn’t need a fancy brand name to do what you want it to do – namely, curtail drag to an extent that noticeably facilitates long-range shooting.

The HPBT isn’t a hunting bullet. Naturally, 140 grains of anything fired out of a 6.5 PRC rifle is going to spell hot death to small game, but the HPBT’s nose cavity does not function as a catalyst to terminal expansion. Ultimately, it’s about as practical for deer hunting as an FMJ, which is to say not very.

American Quality does not stick remanufactured brass onto this ammo’s HPBTs and call it a day. Their factory deals in brand new brass, making these AR-10 loads a choice investment in your future handloading pleasure.
