Caveat emptor - buyer beware
I bought two (2) boxes of these 62gr FMJ cartridges, which totals 500 rounds, and I've fired approximately 300-400 of them.

There are two things positive about these rounds. 1) They're cheap. 2) Their zero, in my rifles, is fairly close to the 55gr M193 I usually use, so that was convenient - your mileage may vary.

The bad? I don't think any form of quality check was done with these. Both boxes I received had headstamps that indicated mixed lots of brass, which isn't the end of the world - but there was an attempt to have primer and bullet sealant. I say "an attempt" because the case heads of some brass looks completely covered by primer sealant, while others have none. Some cases have ring of bullet sealant, others don't - some have the bullet sealant around the middle of the case neck. Also, these cases sport a primer crimp which is frequently "off center." (It is a circle-type crimp that completely surrounds the primer pocket.)

There is nothing that tells me any form of quality checking was actually done.

Despite all these things, do you want to know what made me log back on and write this review? I had a case separate in my chamber. It wasn't catastrophic. The case head was ripped off and ejected just as normal, and the next round attempted to chamber - but it didn't go into full battery. That's when I knew something was up. It didn't go into full battery because the case shoulder and neck was still in the chamber, and the new cartridge just jammed into that. I had to mortar my rifle to eject the cartridge, and, thankfully, the broken case shoulder and neck came out attached to it. It could have been a lot worse.

In all my years of shooting, as well as handloading ammo, I've never had a brass case fail on me in this way.

(Almost forgot to add. Platform is a 16" CHF barrel with carbine gas, chambered in 5.56 NATO, and a BCM BCG.)

Have a question about this?

This will be displayed next to your question.

Is this bullet a regular FMJ or a FMJBT?
Answer: Hi Angel! The manufacturer designates the projectile as an FMJ. If it has a BT, then they're not disclosing that fact.
Are the steel core rounds indicated with the green tips?
Answer: AQA sources components that are the cheapest at the time of loading to keep cost down. These have been loaded with both steel core and non steel core. So unfortunately I can not give a straight answer of yes or no they will be steel cored.
Are these rounds corrosive? Thanks in advance
Answer: No they are not.
Good for Polish AK 47?
Answer: Only if your Polish AK is chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO
Is it the same as a 308?
Answer: No this is a different cartridge and not compatible with .308 Winchester. Try item # AMM-7292 or AMM-3227.
