Every state is technically “American.” But for our money, some states are just more “American” than others. Take Montana, for instance. Rugged. Untamed. Birthplace of American Quality Ammunition, which makes target practice affordable and accessible to the masses. It’s quite possibly the most American state of all time!
And the .45-70 Government is unquestionably one of the most American cartridges. American Quality loads this particular rifle round with a 405 grain round nose flat point. It is the .45-70’s classic projectile: solid lead (i.e. unjacketed), with a flat nose that sits safely in a tubular magazine and which still manages to inflict serious trauma even if it’s not designed for terminal expansion. An ideal bullet if your target is made of flat steel.
Brand new brass cases; reloadable. Modern explosives which will not corrode, produce smoke, or excessively foul a firearm. One hundred rounds per case – everything you need for a serious day of shooting!

What firearms (revolver/rifle) can this cartridge be used in
Answer:
Hi Joel! Too many to list, as the 45-70 Government has been around since 1873. Marlin 1895 SBL, Henry All-Weather/X Model, Winchester 1886, and Marlin Dark Series are all popular rifles, to give just a few examples. Handguns are much more limited, with the Magnum Research BFR revolver and Bond Arms Cyclops deringer being two that immediately come to mind.
