Let's be fair, this ammo is good for some .300, but not all.
I wrote a prior comment about this ammo in my S&W .300 AR upper. Another reader had the same problems of the ammo failing to chamber or cycle or both. After 150 rds. my S&W would fire the AQA 147 gr. sonic ammo (where it jammed previously), but not cycle the 208 gr. Amax sub sonic rd. I bought another upper (1/4 the price of my S&W), and it ate this ammo, both sonic and subsonic, like candy. The big difference, my S&W had a mid length gas system, the other had a carbine gas system (read more pressure). I put a subsonic buffer spring (softer), in my S&W and it would now cycle the Amax, but the round would jam about 1/8 inch from chambering. Other brands of ammo would cycle with no problem in both uppers. My non professional conclusions are:#1 The AQA ammo is reloads based on my prior measurements, and the S&W upper has a tight chamber (they don't play well together). #2 If you have a carbine or pistol gas system, you probably won't have many problems with this ammo. #3 If possible, only buy a small sample of different brands of ammo to avoid issues like mine or people with the S&W whisperer upper. #4 All that shiny stuff in the chamber isn't gold, but brass shavings.

I would not use this ammo in a S&W M&P 15 300 Whisper
I read the comments by the owner of the S&W M&P 15 300 Whisper (Unsupressed), about all the bad issues with this ammo. I just bought the same complete upper for my AR and had similar problems. I bought the 208 AMAX by AQA and another of their supersonic rounds. With the new upper, all the rounds jammed in the chamber and FTF. I tried two other brands that functioned flawlessly. I measured the rounds and found the AQA rounds were consistantly .001 to .003 bigger at 3 measuring points. After 150 rds. in the new upper, the AQA rounds would finally chamber and fire the first round, but FTF or stovepipe or jam subsequent rounds. I used 4 different mags which all did the same thing, but all 4 worked flawlessly with the other ammo. I think part of the problem is a tight chamber with the S&W that would not accept the larger AQA round, but still the AQA rounds jammed in all the mags. This also must have been due to the larger diameter of the round. I would not recommend this round or S&W M&P 15 300 Whisper (Unsupressed). I'm disappointed in both.

I really can't rate this yet as I haven't shot any yet
I bought a bulk package of 300 blackout ammunition but haven't had a chance to shoot any through my AR yet so I can't rate it yet to see if they will eject an feed right. The price was right and the other ratings were pretty good so I think I will be happy with the ammo and probably order it again.

Get what You Buy
I have fired two cases with 2 miss feeds in a 300 AAC receiver. Every firearm is a tool, every tool of this kind has special likes or preference's. Sure accuracy is greater with hand loads, and if you want off the shelf this works pretty good. Multi FTF's with different mags tells me the tool needs a gunsmith review of function, and specification check for the little differences in the ammunition, thousandths of an inch can make a big difference.

Works great
I have used this over regular subsonic ammo, which frequently doesn't cycle well, depending on brand. While not completely whisper quiet, it is quieter than higher velocity ammo and cycles perfect.

Buying more...
Another box without complaint. Shooting out of a DD, ISR, using an AAC. Consistent and pretty accurate! My rifle prefers 220gr home loads, but the 208 AMAX's work just fine. Steel plates out to 100yds get a resounding thump, and the brass is quality and reloads just like you'd expect it to. Buying again w/o complaint. It'd get 5 stars, if it shot as tight as my reloads.

Not sure about this.
Purchased this to use in my S&W M&P 15 300 Whisper (Unsupressed) what I found was complete and total failure to feed with every shot. Tried several different magazines, P-51 gen 2 & 3, Daniel Defense 32 Rd mags and military surplus 30rd aluminum. None of them managed to successfully feed consecutive rounds, though on three occasions I had double feeds. Not too sure as to why this happened. I have over 20 years experience with the AR platform from both military and civilian use. Buyer beware.

I have been purchasing Am
I have been purchasing American Quality Ammo for quite some time for my .300 BLK 10' SBR suppressed. I am NOT happy with this ammo. I had about a 10% FTF rate and the plastic tips broke off eventually jammed my trigger group - not a fun day at the range. I have been happy with the American Quality 147g and 220g ammo. I will steer clear of the 208g AMAX going forward.

Shoots excellent out of m
Shoots excellent out of my Barrett Rec 7. Absolutely no failures to feed with 8 or 30 round magazines. Clean burning powder. Produces group sizes less than 1 1/2' at 100yrds. Spent brass is excellent for reloading. Will buy more.

I would give this a five
I would give this a five star, except I've only used about 250 rnds so far. No failures to feed because of jammed tips. Have tried it in several barrel lengths. Adjustable gas blocks are a must for most short barrels unless you run a can. Will be purchasing more.

The ammo comes in bulk bo
The ammo comes in bulk box. Very clean. No dents or empty cases. Shoots fairly clean. The polymer tip jams a lot in the breech. No failure to fire. A lot of failure to feeds. This is being shot through a 16 barrel from Radical firearms. So it is setup for subsonic. Going back to AQA's 147 FMJ rounds.

I do not recommend these
I do not recommend these rounds for semi automatic rifles the rounds did not have enough propellant to push back my action to load another round or fire I suggest you all use these rounds for bolt action rifle's only
