the product, can I use any other rechargable battery, or do I have to find a American hunter battery. and how do u install the battery, I see no instructions, only a wire to connect to a solar charger. got two units, bought two batteries and they do not fit.

American Hunter recommends a 6V 5ah spring top battery. Slide the battery in the side, spring side first, and lock it in with the metal retaining bracket. Batteries are available directly from American Hunter but you can use any quality brand battery.
