Thanks for reaching out Aidan! I advise against firing this ammo in an M1 Garand. I exclusively recommend 30-06 that's loaded to the M1 Garand's preferred specifications. Anyhing else carries a significant chance of damaging the rifle's operating rod. As for the Springfield, that one is way less picky about its ammo. It should handle any modern commercial ammo just fine.

It's not rated for M1 Garand. Your best bet is to stick with M1 Garand specific ammunition which is produced by several of the top ammo manufacturers. See Hornady SKU# 81171 for example
