Altama has turned a trail runner into a tactical machine. To aid in fast roping the sticky SOF-ROC sole wraps into the arch area. Multiple layers of our midsole cushioning is compiled to protect the tactical warrior. For a softer heel EVA dual density is used for cushion and rebound. To prevent bruising from rocks and roots a full length Rock 'n Roll Plate is embedded on the bottom side. An additional layer of EVA for that extra cushioning lines the strobel insole board. The molded rubber toe assists and protects the foot when having to kick in a door or when kicking obstructions out of the way on the trail. For added support and superior stability the TPU heel clip is injection molded. Most of these features are not found in your average trail runner of today. We've constructed the upper for maximum breathability. Using the best microfiber PU as well as breathable nylon mesh, we laminate the materials in such a way to promote superior air flow, thus a healthier foot environment. The nylon loop lacing system helps for quick adjustment. On the heel you will find a nylon pull loop to assist when pulling on your shoe. Our insole is an Alta-lite dual density blown PU insole for exceptional cushioning and support.
