Haven't went a hike with it yet but it looks of very good durability and design, it's not too big and not too small. Just right for day out. Hope Allen Mfr continues to make them.

YOU WILL LOVE IT. I bought this at least 6+ years ago. I have carried this pack literally every were i go every single day. This pack is worth 5 times the money. I store everything from a pistol, mags, drinks, knife, medication, keys, books, gloves...get it..every were i go, it goes. In the last 6 months i have added boot stings and paracord to zippers and bottom of bag because its wearing thin and zippers are getting shot. So over 5 & 1/2 years of ever day use and still going!!!
