This case is good enough for the occasional shooter. It has soft padding, and fits most popular semi auto carbine rifles. The mag pockets can hold two 30 round mags each ! The exterior pocket is large enough to hold most accessories. What it needs is a interior pocket, and a security strap. Also, it would be nice to have a shoulder strap. That's the reason for the 4 star rating.

I will buy this again
I have a .308 Rem. 700 SPS Tactical 16.5" barrel on a Magpul chassis with a Nikon M-308 scope and bipod and it fits great. Another plus is that the mags fit great in the pouches too.

Nice budget case for M4 size AR-15 carbine
I have an M4A3 AR15 with 16 inch barrel. Case is just long enough to fit even with collapsable stock fully deployed. Material appears to be a heavy duty nylon, nicely padded, nicely made. It is a lightweight and compact case to carry carbine to range, etc. Small enough to fit in rear of my compact SUV, unlike the monster hard case that came with the Bushmaster. External pockets hold 30 rd mags, or 2 ten rd mag in each, or 20 round boxes of ammo, etc.. Long zippered pouch could hold paper targets, small tools, small staple gun, etc. Velcro patches can be attached. Small padlock can be used on zipper to keep out the curious. Does not have rifle straps inside, but case is small enough a carbine with handle or scope won't move around. Pros: nicely padded Cons: woud not be suitable for airline travel

Does this case come with a shoulder strap and is there a picture of it opened we can see?
